27 Years of my Contributions into the lives of Young People in Peterborough
I am pleased to share with you that this year I completed my 27 years of continuous work with the young people of Peterborough. I feel immensely proud of my contributions into the lives of so many young people. Most importantly young people show a great respect for me by calling me uncle T and in return I dedicated one of my books to the young people I work with and distributed a copy each!

60th Year of the Pakistani Arrival in Peterborough
Pakistan Community Association of Peterborough launched “60th Year of Pakistani Arrival in Peterborough" on Tuesday 15th April 2014 at Peterborough Town Hall Reception Room. Exhibition at Museum and Cathedral
From Tuesday 15th April 2014 I organised six-week exhibition at the Peterborough Museum and later held a ten day exhibition at the Peterborough Cathedral in 2014 and I am pleased to report that both exhibitions were exceptionally well attended. Part of the project were over 170 page A5 community heritage history in photographs book, A6 booklet with summary of the community history in the city, display of a dozen individual profiles, a DVD of the Peterborough British-Pakistani community and several small exhibits from Pakistan and Kashmir.
This was the first ever exhibition of this kind held at the Peterborough Museum and offered a unique opportunity to learn about the British-Pakistani community history. According to the Museum large numbers of local both primary and secondary schools organised visits to the exhibition. I am immensely proud that I lead this project from start to finish.
I am pleased to share that proceeds raised from the sale of my books have been donated to a British charity!
Pilgrimage of Hajj
I am delighted to share with you that I traveled on once a lifetime, a month long journey on the pilgrimage of Hajj to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 2014. It was an amazing, wonderful, emotional, demanding and life changing experience, which is difficult to describe in words but one has to go through the experience to be able to understand.
